NFC Journal

Always and everywhere

by Ulrich Hamann, Bundesdruckerei

Near field communication is becoming more evident in many sectors with transportation leading, closely followed by the financial and banking arena with ePayments. Now another area is emerging for NFC, which is to make electronic identities mobile.

In around one year from now, the new electronic ID card is to be launched in Germany making business transactions on the Internet much more secure and simple.
